121. DSTON "Adopt A Grandparent" Initiative. - in Intergalactic Summit [original thread]
I have a great respect for the elderly; they often have much wisdom to share from their experiences. I'll have to discuss it with Kyllsa and Avlynka, but I think living among the Ko'Mak would be healthy for these people. From what I've observed, t...

122. What Is Tribal Traditionalism and why is it incompatible with Democracy? - in Intergalactic Summit [original thread]
There are many clans and sub-tribes, and speaking generally for the entirety of the Minmatar people is very difficult at best, and downright misleading at worst. I would like to ask we not point fingers and yell "Not Matari Enough". From what I ...

Funny. I'm still early on in my studies but what that legend speaks of, Elsebeth, sounds a lot like something I've learned a bit about: Nidhoggr.

128. Warp Drive Not Active - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
I like this idea! In particular, just to add more flashing red things, perhaps have the speedometer pulse from its normal white-ish color to red at a rate of 2 or 3 times per second. And a sound effect to go along with it.

I applaud your efforts Edaine. The cluster is a dark, blood-thirsty place however. If you'd like I can teach you some piloting tricks to escape blockades and "camps". As you mentioned, a warp core stabilizer would have been excellent; general rule...

There is no death in Nation? Very well. What about fear? Nation is fear and cowardice incarnate. Kuvakei recognizes that there is something wrong with the cluster, and that there are horrible people doing horrible things. We bring war and destruc...

You've struck a chord with my inner mushy self, Katrina, by comparing a human to a work of art and contrasting it with my analogies to a machine. On a fundamental level I agree.

I support this 100%. It is not at all hard to imagine a sort of missile-disrupting midslot thing. They have chaff and flares in real life. It is incredibly difficult to imagine why a futuristic society wouldn't have something similar.
